What is Roullete?

Roullete, also known as Roulette or the Little Wheel, is a casino game that combines elements of chance and mathematics with style and leisure. It is played on a table, which can seat up to seven players. The table is covered with a number grid over which the wheel numbers are engraved, and surrounded by bet areas. A standard Roulette wheel has thirty-six compartments, painted alternately red and black, with a green compartment labelled 0 on European-style wheels, and two green 00 slots on American ones.

Each bet has a different payout depending on its position on the grid. The best payout is for a straight-up bet on a single number, which pays 35 times the stake. The next highest is a bet on two adjacent numbers, which pay 297 chips.

There are a number of other bets, which can cover groups of numbers, colors, or odd and even. A player can also bet on a specific area of the Roulette wheel, or the color of the ball (red or black), but the range of payouts is smaller than that of craps.
