Open Gathering: I Want To Know What Love Is

  • The Chicago School of Professional Psychology 325 North Wells Street Chicago, IL, 60654 United States (map)

As Valentine's Day draws closer we may find ourselves encountering images of hearts, flowers, and candy and are told that these things represent love. Gifts and symbols *can* be signs of love but there's definitely more to it then that.

What expressions of love are meaningful for you? How do you let others know that you care for them? What forms of love have you encountered and how have they differed from one another? Join us as we discuss what love is, what it isn't, and how we've seen it manifest in our lives during this month's Open Gathering.

ABOUT OUR OPEN GATHERINGS:

CFI’s Open Gatherings are a time and place dedicated to navigating delicate, thorny conversations within a safe and charitable environment. We have a lot of questions and often find ourselves talking about subjects that are either ignored or seen as taboo in most social contexts. This public gathering consists of regulars and newcomers with a wide range of identities, orientations, and beliefs who are united by a shared interest of engaging in constructive dialogue and inclusive community.

If you’re asking the same questions we are, consider joining us! We invite you to come meet with us during the first Monday of the month for our discussion.
