Open Gathering: Home for the Holidays

  • The Chicago School of Professional Psychology 325 North Wells Street Chicago, IL, 60654 United States (map)

The holiday season is coming and complicated emotions arrive alongside it. People find themselves wrestling with questions about things like home, family, and belonging during this time of year. What is home? What if embracing who we are means that we have had to redefine terms like home and family? What if our traditions or the things we value aren't centered during this time of year? Join us as we navigate these questions and others during our December Open Gathering.

ABOUT OUR OPEN GATHERINGS:

CFI’s Open Gatherings are a time and place dedicated to navigating delicate, thorny conversations within a safe and charitable environment. We have a lot of questions and often find ourselves talking about subjects that are either ignored or seen as taboo in most social contexts. This public gathering consists of regulars and newcomers with a wide range of identities, orientations, and beliefs who are united by a shared interest of engaging in constructive dialogue and inclusive community.

If you’re asking the same questions we are, consider joining us! We invite you to come meet with us during the first Monday of the month for our discussion.
